Sheri Bender

Sheri Bender has over 25 years of practical HR, Training, and Consulting experience in various industries including private- and employee-owned companies, non-profit organizations, large and small manufacturing organizations, start-ups, healthcare, electronics, government contracting, legal, and construction. Her specialty areas include compliance, employee relations, training, diversity, team building and coaching.

Sheri serves as the Director, Diversity and Inclusion for HR Virginia State Council and her local SHRM Chapter, is an augural board member and the Secretary for the Institute for Diversity Certification. She holds two senior-level HR certifications, is a Certified Diversity Executive, an ACC ICF-certified professional coach, an ACE-certified Health Coach, and a Master’s degree from James Madison University.
