Matt Peary

Matt Peary has extensive work experience in finance and leadership roles. Matt is currently serving as the Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO NeueHealth at Bright Health.

Prior to joining Bright Health in 2022, Peary worked at Magellan Health from 2009 to 2022. During their tenure, they held various positions including Vice President, Investor Relations, Vice President Finance / Chief Financial Officer of Magellan Complete Care, and Senior Director of Corporate Development. In these roles, they were responsible for investor communications, financial operations, strategic growth initiatives, and acquisitions.

Before Magellan Health, Peary worked at Cigna from 2001 to 2009, where they held the positions of Chief Financial Officer / Finance Director of vielife, Assistant Director of Corporate Development, Assistant Director of Corporate Finance, and Assistant Director of Expense Management. Matt'sresponsibilities included financial integration, business alliances, capital management, expense planning, and efficiency savings.

Peary started their career at KPMG as an Audit Manager from 1993 to 1997. Matt then worked at HSBC as a Manager of Investment Services from 1997 to 1998, and at Marsh as a Manager of Operations from 1998 to 2001.

Overall, Peary has a wealth of experience in finance, leadership, strategic planning, investor relations, and corporate development. Matt'sexpertise spans across various industries and they have successfully led financial operations, executed acquisitions, and contributed to business growth throughout their career.

Matt Peary obtained an MBA in Finance from the University of Connecticut, where they studied from 2001 to 2005. In addition, they have certifications as a Certified Public Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of British Columbia, and as a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute.
