Jason Chen

Jason Chen has extensive experience in recruitment and talent acquisition across various industries. Currently serving on the Customer Advisory Board at BrightHire since July 2020, Jason previously held the position of Global Head of Technical Recruiting at Grammarly from January 2022 to September 2024. Prior to that, as Sr. Director of Global Corporate & Technical Recruiting at MongoDB from March 2013 to January 2022, Jason played a key role in scaling the company and contributed to its successful IPO. Additional experiences include advising a stealth startup focused on diverse talent acquisition, leading technical recruitment at J.Crew, and working in talent acquisition roles at Jetsetter and Gilt. Earlier career stages involved program oversight at the Sports and Arts in Schools Foundation and volunteer recruitment for organizations like the American Cancer Society and American Red Cross. Jason holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Binghamton University.
