Darlene Wood

Darlene Wood has a diverse work experience in graphic and UX design. Darlene is currently working as a UX Design Lead at Brighthouse Financial. Previously, they held several roles at RiverSource, including Senior Brand and Design Manager, Brand and Design Manager, and Senior Graphic Designer. In these roles, they were responsible for designing marketing materials for insurance and annuity products, implementing a new brand identity system, and managing relationships with internal and external partners. Prior to their time at RiverSource, Darlene worked as a Graphic Designer at Voyageur Asset Management Inc. and as a Graphic Design Consultant at The Creative Group. Darlene also gained experience as a Graphic Designer - Residence Services at the University of North Dakota.

Darlene Wood obtained a BA in Graphic Design from the University of North Dakota between the years 2001 and 2005. Additionally, they have acquired various certifications in UX Design, including "Build Wireframes and Low-Fidelity Prototypes," "Foundations of User Experience (UX) Design," and "Start the UX Design Process: Empathize, Define, and Ideate" from Coursera in 2022.
