Sigrid Paans

Sigrid Paans serves as the Head of Community Development, Marketing, and Communications at Brightlands Chemelot Campus, where a network of over one hundred international companies, educational institutions, and research organizations collaborates on innovations in sustainable chemistry and biomedical solutions. In addition, Sigrid Paans is the Chair of the board at Jazz Maastricht Foundation, directing innovative concert series and educational programs, and a Board Member with stichting Jazzfest Amsterdam, an established jazz festival. Previous roles include Fundraising Consultant for StIJL - Stichting Intercity Jazz Limburg, Project Grants Advisor at Amsterdams Fonds voor de Kunst, Program Manager of the Jazz Department at Conservatorium Maastricht, and Producer Projects for the Jazz Festivals at Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor’s in Music from Conservatorium Maastricht, alongside a Bachelor's in Business Administration and Economics from HEAO Fontys Hogeschool.
