Erica Allen, M.Ed., NBHWC

Erica Allen, M.Ed., NBHWC has a diverse range of work experience in the education and coaching field. Erica is currently working at Brightline as a Senior Behavioral Health Coach, where they coach children, teens, and caregivers using evidence-based approaches like MI and CBT. Erica also co-designed the "Mentor Welcome Squad" to provide effective onboarding to new hires. Prior to Brightline, Erica worked at Coach Erica Allen as a CEC Provider, offering coaching services. Erica also served as a Student Success Coach at Western Governors University, where they partnered with students to help them graduate and co-wrote a coaching rubric and a pilot program on mindfulness and debriefs. Before that, Erica worked at Rally Health as a Core Coach, achieving top performance metrics and onboarding new hires. Erica also worked at Real Appeal as a Transformation Health Coach, providing one-on-one coaching on weight-loss and facilitating behavior change classes. Erica's earlier experience includes working as a Lead Teacher at WATERTOWN-MAYER SCHOOL DISTRICT.

Erica Allen, M.Ed., NBHWC, has an extensive education history. Erica obtained their Master's degree in Instructional Design from Western Governors University in 2022. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Teaching at Crown College from 2007 to 2011. In 2005, Erica attended the Midwest School of Herbal Studies, where they attained a Master Herbalist degree in Herbal Medicine. Additionally, they pursued General Studies at the University of Minnesota.

In terms of certifications, Erica Allen has achieved various qualifications. Erica became a CEC Provider through the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching in August 2022. In November 2021, they completed a certification in Motivational Interviewing from the Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers Incorporated. Earlier, in March 2021, Erica obtained a Diversity and Equity Certificate from the University of South Florida. Finally, they acquired the National Board Health and Wellness Coaching certification from the National Board for Health & Wellness Coaching in December 2018.
