Jordan Downey

Jordan Downey has a diverse work experience in the fields of data science, monitoring and evaluation, research, and project management.

In their most recent role as a Senior Data Scientist at Brightline, they have been working since 2022.

Prior to this, they worked as a Monitoring, Evaluation, Research & Learning Consultant at Last Mile Health from May 2022 to September 2022.

Before that, at Surgo Ventures from January 2021 to May 2022, Jordan was a Research Associate and led the maternal vulnerability index (MVI) initiative. They also conducted research on maternal mortality, vulnerability, and structural racism in the US.

At Last Mile Health, Jordan held multiple roles including Senior Technical Manager, Country Engagement from July 2019 to January 2021. In this role, they managed community health systems projects and provided technical support to country teams. They also served as a Research & Evaluation Consultant and Manager, as well as a Research Analyst.

Jordan's work experience also includes being an Analyst at The Dedham Group from August 2015 to February 2016.

Jordan Downey attended Sir Francis Drake High School from 2007 to 2011. Following that, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Biological Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Later, from 2018 to 2019, Jordan attended the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, where they obtained a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree. No specific field of study was mentioned for their master's program.
