Christopher Wissel-Tyson

Christopher Wissel-Tyson has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the energy and environmental industries. Christopher currently serves as the VP of Development & Analytics at BrightNight, a position they have held since June 2020. Prior to that, they were the Director of Product Development at Doosan GridTech from July 2019 to June 2020.

From 2012 to 2019, Wissel-Tyson worked at IMG Midstream, where they held the positions of Senior Manager of Business Development & Environmental Services, as well as Development Analyst. Before joining IMG Midstream, they were an Energy Fellow at the U.S. Department of Energy in 2011. In the same year, they also worked as a Solar Energy Market Analyst at California Solar Corporation.

Wissel-Tyson began their career in 2005 at UC Davis as a Junior Specialist in the Environmental Engineering Lab, where they worked until 2010. Throughout their career, they have demonstrated expertise in development, analytics, product development, business development, and environmental services within the energy sector.

Christopher Wissel-Tyson completed their Bachelor's degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering at the University of California, Davis from 2003 to 2008. Christopher then pursued a Master's degree in Environmental Science & Management with a focus on Energy at UC Santa Barbara from 2010 to 2012.
