Chenine Bhathena MBE FRSA is an experienced cultural leader and creative consultant with a focus on the intersection of arts, culture, policy, community, and democracy. Currently serving as a member of the Advisory Board for the Thames Estuary Production Corridor and CERTAIN BLACKS LTD, as well as Co-Chair for the Brighton & Hove Culture Alliance, Bhathena's previous roles include Assistant Director for Culture, Tourism, Sport, and City Parks at Brighton & Hove City Council and Creative Director for the Coventry City of Culture Trust. Bhathena's expertise encompasses developing strategies that highlight issues related to poverty, health, and civic pride, while fostering connections with marginalized communities. Educational credentials include a BA (Hons) in Performing Arts (Arts Management) from Leicester Polytechnic and participation in the Clore Leadership program.
