Mika Leppäaho

Mika Leppäaho currently serves as Manager of Biomasses and Biochemicals Engineering at Brightplus Oy since April 2019, focusing on developing new biomaterials through innovative technology platforms. Prior experience includes roles at Naava, where Mika progressed from Production Worker to Production Manager, overseeing the production process for greenwall frames and implementing quality control. Earlier, Mika contributed as a Research Assistant at the University of Jyväskylä, analyzing chemical compositions of wood materials and pulp properties, with initial production experience in various roles at companies such as Nordic Henkilöstöpalvelut and Finnlamelli Oy. Mika holds a Master's degree in Chemistry from the University of Jyväskylä, which was obtained between 2007 and 2013.
