Katherine Autin

Katherine Autin has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Katherine currently serves as the Vice President of Operations at Brightside, a digital mental healthcare company. Katherine joined the company in 2018 and has been responsible for leading clinical operations and scaling the company from seed funding to series B funding. Katherine'soversight includes managing provider network operations, member services support, quality assurance, compliance, and pharmacy logistics.

Prior to their role at Brightside, Katherine worked at Stanford Health Care from 2014 to 2018. Katherine started as an Administrative Fellow and later became a Manager of Business Operations & Strategy. In their role as Manager, they developed business cases and analyses to drive organizational strategy and performance outcomes, directly supporting the Chief Administrative Officer. Katherine also oversaw the organization's Strategic & Operating Plan, ensuring the execution of priorities and deliverables.

Before joining Stanford Health Care, Katherine worked as a Management Intern/Consultant at MedStar Montgomery Medical Center in 2013. During their time there, they streamlined and standardized nursing unit-based scorecards, developed cost variance analyses and productivity reports for medical/surgical units, and initiated collaborative efforts to implement hospice beds for optimizing patient care and reimbursement.

Katherine's career in healthcare began as a Program Coordinator at the Center for Healthcare Research and Transformation (CHRT) from 2012 to 2014. In this role, they managed outreach efforts with the Washtenaw Health Initiative, assisting underserved communities in understanding their insurance options under the Affordable Care Act. Katherine also tracked and reported data on the impact of outreach activities in surrounding communities.

Katherine Autin holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Organizational Studies & Sociology from the University of Michigan. Katherine also has a Masters of Health Services Administration (MHSA) degree in Health/Health Care Administration/Management & Policy, also from the University of Michigan. In addition to their academic qualifications, Katherine has obtained the Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from the Scrum Alliance in February 2023.
