Gehad abu Seada

Gehad Abu Seada has a diverse work experience spanning several positions and organizations. Gehad'smost recent role is as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Brightskies, starting in January 2023. Prior to this role, they worked as a Senior DevOps Engineer at the same company, where they managed and monitored systems, installed and configured operating systems and software, ensured infrastructure availability, maintained security measures, and implemented CI/CD and Microservices architectures. Gehad also deployed Kubernetes clusters and utilized Ansible for maintaining operating system configurations and packages.

Before joining Brightskies, Gehad worked at Integrated Solutions For Ports (ISFP) as a Senior Configuration Management Administrator and later as a Configuration Management Administrator. In these positions, they led a team in developing efficient methods for complex tasks, provided assistance to other teams, and remained available to help as needed.

Gehad's earlier work experience includes a role as a Graduate at the Information Technology Institute (ITI) from September 2011 to July 2012. Gehad also held various positions at IEEE AlexandriaSB, such as Head of Activities and Coordinator of Seminars, where they organized professional seminars, courses, visits, workshops, and study groups to support fellow engineers, scientists, and entrepreneurs. Finally, they served as the Head of Activities at IEEE from 2010 to 2011.

Gehad Abu Seada began their education in 2006 at Alexandria University, where they pursued an Engineer's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, and Communications Engineering. Gehad completed this degree in 2011. During their time at Alexandria University, Gehad also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communications Engineering. In 2011, they attended the ITI Information Technology Institute, where they studied Unix Administration.
