Jayesh De Silva

Jayesh De Silva has over 20 years of experience in finance and business development. Jayesh started their career in 2001 as a Consulting Assistant at Aon Hewitt. Jayesh then worked at American Express as a Financial Analyst from 2003 to 2005, and at Esure as a Financial Analyst from 2005 to 2008. At Ashton Healthcare Group, Jayesh served as a Financial Controller from 2008 to 2010, managing the finance department for six companies. Jayesh then joined Mott MacDonald as a Financial Analyst, where they provided technical and financial consultancy for project finance across various sectors. Since 2014, Jayesh has been working as a Business Development Manager at BrightSource Energy, responsible for strategic analysis, project pricing, and strengthening relationships with governments and investors in the renewable energy industry.

Jayesh De Silva obtained a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Economics from the University of Sussex in 1999. Jayesh then pursued a Master of Science degree in Accounting & Finance from the University of Southampton, which they completed in 2000. In 2009, Jayesh achieved the qualification of Qualified CIMA CGMA from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. Additionally, they received management and leadership training from the Cranfield School of Management at an unspecified time.
