Ashok Kumar

Ashok Kumar is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in digital transformation and leadership roles. Currently serving as the Chief Information Officer at Brightspeed, Ashok has also held advisory positions at Apollo Global Management Inc. and Shipshape. Prior to these roles, Ashok was instrumental in driving digital transformation initiatives at Verizon, holding titles such as Vice President of Digital Transformation for FiOS and Wireless, as well as Executive Director for Self Service Solutions. Ashok began their career as a Software Engineer at cmc. Educationally, Ashok holds a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras, earned between 1988 and 1992.
