Ed Bates

Ed Bates possesses extensive experience in corporate development, mergers and acquisitions, and operational management within various industries. Currently serving as Vice President Corporate Development and M&A at BrightView Landscapes since December 2016, Ed previously held the position of Vice President/General Manager at the same company from 2013 to 2016. Prior roles include Region Manager at TruGreen LandCare, where responsibilities encompassed sales and operations management for the Texas/Oklahoma region, and CFO at Just Brakes, where financial operations and treasury functions were managed for a multi-site auto repair service. Ed also functioned as VP Shared Services at Footstar, overseeing service center operations for a national retailer. Ed holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Sam Houston State University.
