Julia Scheinman currently serves as the Operations Coordinator at Brightworks Sustainability since December 2022. Concurrently, Julia has been a Crew Member and MC at Sofar Sounds since June 2019, facilitating audience and artist engagement during shows. Previous roles include Operations and Customer Support Associate at Replate, where Julia implemented monthly operations reports and managed customer support, and Art in the Parks Intern at Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy, assisting with a project focused on the re-entry of formerly incarcerated individuals. Julia co-founded and facilitated the "Food for Thought" course at the DeCal Program, contributing to discussions on various aspects of the food system. Additional experience includes serving as Storefront Coordinator at Berkeley Student Food Collective and Camp Director's Assistant at Sprouts Cooking Club. Julia holds a degree in Human Geography with minors in Food Systems and Art Practice from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from the Pacific Northwest College of Art, complemented by a study abroad experience at the University of Cape Town.
