Luis Puentes

Luis Puentes has a diverse range of experience in software development and project management. Luis started their career at Sitrans, where they worked as a Junior Developer before progressing to the role of Senior Developer and eventually becoming a Project Director. During their time at Sitrans, they gained skills in various programming languages and technologies.

After leaving Sitrans, Luis joined RUOK as a Full Stack Developer, where they contributed to the development of web and mobile gambling applications. Luis was responsible for creating new features, converting UI designs into VueJS components, and implementing caching and message queues to optimize application speed.

Luis then transitioned to Slash, where they worked as a Full Stack Developer and focused on developing web applications for AXA, the United Nations World Food Programme (UN WFP) in Cambodia, and Lloyd's Register. Luis'sresponsibilities included building microservices, customizing CMS systems, integrating with external APIs, and implementing control layers on maps.

Currently, Luis is a Software Engineer (Frontend) at Brikl, where they specialize in frontend development.

Luis Puentes has a bachelor's degree in Computer Software Engineering from Fundación Universitaria Panamericana, which they obtained from 2011 to 2015. In 2009-2010, they studied Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology at Universidad INCCA de Colombia, but it is unclear whether they obtained a degree in that field.

In 2017, Luis Puentes received a certificate in English from ALI - Académie Linguistique Internationale. Moreover, they are currently a PUC Toastmasters member at Pannasastra University of Cambodia, specializing in Public Speaking and Leadership, starting from 2021.

Luis additionally completed a JavaScript: Closures certification from LinkedIn in March 2021 and a React certification from HackerRank in February 2021.
