Saran Weerakun

Saran Weerakun has a diverse work experience in various software development roles. In 2013, Saran worked as a System Admin Intern at Samart Comtech Co., Ltd. From 2014 to 2021, Saran worked at Dek-D Interactive Company Limited, where they served as a User Experience Developer, Senior Frontend Developer, and later as the Dek-D School Team Lead. During this time, Saran was responsible for developing online platforms such as Dek-D School, Project Dek-D Visual Novel, and Project Dek-D Writer 3. Saran utilized technologies such as Next.js, styled-components, Redux, Apollo GraphQL, HTML, SCSS, and jQuery. In 2021, Saran joined CREA as a Software Engineer and contributed to the development of the CUSP (CREA Unified Selling Platform) by implementing a new grid view mode and a media upload progress component. From 2021 to 2022, Saran worked at Seven Peaks Software as a Senior Frontend Developer, where they developed an internal React component library and an admin web app for data configuration and management. Currently, Saran serves as a Senior Software Engineer (Front-end) at Brikl, where they lead the Menu Builder project and work on the rendering of storefronts and microstores using technologies including TypeScript, React, Jotai, Apollo GraphQL, Gatsby, Next.js, Netlify, Chakra, dnd-kit, nx, and graphql-codegen.

Saran Weerakun obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from the Faculty of Information Technology at King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang. This degree was earned between the years 2010 and 2014. In addition, Saran has also obtained two additional certifications. The first certification is called "Verified International Academic Qualifications," which was obtained from the World Education Services in May 2021. The second certification is the "IELTS General Training 7.0," obtained from the British Council IELTS (International English Language Testing System) in June 2021.
