Jean-Paul Skoczylas CEng MICE has extensive experience in the engineering field. From 2007 to 2016, they worked at Halcrow, a CH2M Company, in various roles including Water Engineer, Assistant Engineer and Graduate Engineer. From 2014 to 2017, they were the Managing Director and Principal Engineer at Water Consulting East Africa. From 2017 to 2018, they were the Engineering Project Manager for Thames Water, where they were responsible for the delivery and financial management of various investment lines. From 2018 to 2019, they were a Councillor at Welwyn Hatfield Borough Council, representing the interests and constituents of Sherrards Ward. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at Remote Group as the Technical Director - Water, where they were the project director for the Gabiro Agribusiness Hub Project. From 2021 to 2022, they worked at Netafim as the Business Development and Technical Support, aiding business development in Rwanda and Sudan. In 2022, they began working at Brilliant Planet as the Principal Hydraulic Engineer and at EAS as the Principal Flood Risk Engineer. Currently, they are the Managing Director at Water Consulting Worldwide Ltd.
Jean-Paul Skoczylas CEng MICE received a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree from the University of Cambridge in 2007, after obtaining a BA in Engineering from the same institution between 2003 and 2006. Jean-Paul also obtained A & AS Levels in Maths, Physics, Chemistry & Further Maths, and Biology from Sedbergh School UK between 1997 and 2002. In 2019, they became a Member of the Institution of Engineers Rwanda and a Google Streetview Trusted Professional. In 2018, they became an International Professional Engineer - IntPE(UK). In 2017, they obtained a Chartered Engineer (CEng) certification from the Engineering Council and became a Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers (MICE).
