Aaron Emigh

Aaron Emigh is the CEO of Brilliant, a technology company that produces educational content and tools for students and professionals. Aaron has over 25 years of experience in the technology industry, including stints as a software developer, technical marketing manager, and executive vice president.

Emigh co-founded shopkick in 2009 and served as the company's chief technology officer until 2014, when it was acquired by SK Planet for $250 million. Aaron then went on to work for Philips TriMedia and Six Apart, Ltd. (now Maven) before joining Brilliant in 2017.

Under Emigh's leadership, Brilliant has seen tremendous growth, with its user base expanding from 1 million to 10 million in just two years. The company has also been recognized as one of Fast Company's Most Innovative Companies and one of America's Most Promising Companies by Forbes.

Aaron Emigh has a BA in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Cruz and a BA in Linguistics from the same school.
