Isabelle Aubert is a Senior Scientist at Sunnybrook Research Institute since June 1998, and a Professor in Laboratory Medicine and Pathobiology at the University of Toronto, holding various leadership roles, including Chair of the Wellness, Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee and Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Officer. Additionally, Isabelle Aubert serves as an Associate Professor and previously as an Assistant Professor in the same department. Isabelle Aubert has been a Women's Self-Defence and Karate Instructor at York University since January 1999 and a Ski Instructor with the Canadian Ski Instructors' Alliance since 1982, as well as at Brimacombe since January 2017. Prior to these roles, Isabelle Aubert was a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies from June 1994 to May 1998, focusing on gene therapy for brain repair. Isabelle Aubert earned a PhD in Neuroscience from McGill University in 1994, specializing in cholinergic plasticity during brain development, aging, and Alzheimer's disease, and holds a BSc in Biochemistry from Université de Montréal.
