Justin Callaway

Justin Callaway has a diverse work experience in the medical field. Justin is currently the COO and SVP of R&D at BrioHealth Solutions, a role they have held since October 2023. Prior to that, they worked as the Senior Vice President of R&D at BrioHealth Solutions from March 2023 to October 2023.

Before joining BrioHealth Solutions, Justin worked at Callaway Innovation LLC as a Principal providing contract technical and strategic services for medical applications. Justin has experience working with startup and small/medium medical device clients, as well as private equity and venture capital investment support and diligence.

Prior to that, Justin held various roles at Smith & Nephew, including Vice President, Sports Medicine, Advanced Healing platforms from August 2021 to March 2023. Justin also worked as the Sr. Director, REGENETEN Products from September 2019 to August 2021, and as the Sr. Director of R&D, Sports Medicine from October 2018 to September 2019.

Justin has also worked at Leviticus-Cardio as a Technical & Strategic Advisor from January 2022 to January 2023, at Abbott as the Sr. Director of Research & Development from January 2017 to September 2018, and at St. Jude Medical as the Sr. Director, Research & Development from September 2016 to January 2017, among other roles.

Earlier in their career, Justin worked at Thoratec, now a part of St. Jude Medical, as the Director, Research & Development, Pump Platforms from January 2015 to October 2015. Justin also worked at Rhythmia Medical, Inc. as a Principal Engineer from June 2006 to January 2009, and at Percardia as a Project Engineer from December 2004 to June 2006.

Justin started their career at MKS Instruments as a Calibration Technician from December 1998 to December 2000.

Justin Callaway has an Executive Certificate in Management & Leadership from the MIT Sloan School of Management. Justin also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University. Additionally, they have obtained an Executive Certificate in Management and Leadership from MIT Sloan Executive Education.
