Mathew James

Mathew James is an experienced production professional with a diverse background in lighting and technical coordination. Currently serving as Production Manager at Brisbane Powerhouse since August 2021, Mathew has held various roles including Deputy Production Manager and Technical Coordinator. Previous experience includes working as a Lighting & AV Technician at a Noble Event, and as a Lighting Technician at Queensland Performing Arts Centre and Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre. Mathew began a career in the industry with a position as Studio Assistant at GRANADA TELEVISION PRODUCTIONS LIMITED and previously worked as a Sales Associate at Foot Locker Asia Pacific. Mathew holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Film/Cinema/Video Studies from SAE Institute, earned between 2016 and 2017.
