Jeff Smart

Jeff Smart is an experienced chaplain and pastoral leader with a strong background in palliative care and church leadership. Currently serving as Chaplain of Palliative Care at Bristol Hospice since June 2022, Jeff previously held the same title at St. Francis Medical Center for nearly a year. Jeff's extensive pastoral experience includes roles as Lead Pastor at multiple churches, including Cook Baptist Church and East Leesville Baptist Church. Jeff also has a notable business background as President of SonLife, Inc., where a modest investment was transformed into a successful, debt-free business. Jeff holds a Bachelor's Degree in Pastoral Studies/Theology from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master's Degree in Pastoral Studies/Theology from Louisiana Christian University, and a Doctor of Ministry in Pastoral Leadership from Andersonville Theological Seminary.
