Cristina Contreras is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in pharmacology and oncology research. Currently serving as a Senior Scientist at Bristol Myers Squibb since June 2022, Cristina previously held positions as Scientist II at Vividion Therapeutics, Inc. and Pharmacology Scientist at Peloton Therapeutics, where responsibilities included designing and interpreting in vivo pharmacology studies to evaluate small molecule drug candidates. Prior to industrial roles, Cristina worked as a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, managing multi-disciplinary projects focused on the notch pathway and BRCA1 in basal-like breast cancer, alongside significant experience in murine tumor modeling. Cristina earned a Ph.D. in Genetic and Development from UT Southwestern Medical Center and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from The University of Dallas.
