Gunther Busam

Gunther Busam currently serves as the Executive Director and Global Product Lead for Breyanzi at Bristol Myers Squibb, where Gunther spearheads strategic product development initiatives and leads a multidisciplinary team. Prior to this role, Gunther held various senior positions at Novartis, including Head of Procurement for Cell and Gene Therapies, overseeing the successful commercial launch of Kymriah, and contributing to the development and commercialization of CAR-T therapies. Gunther has extensive experience in sourcing, supply chain operations, and project management within the biopharmaceutical industry, having managed numerous clinical trials and development programs. Gunther holds a degree in Pharmaceutics and a Ph.D. in Biology from the University of Freiburg.
