Stephen Johnson

Stephen Johnson is an accomplished professional in the field of drug design and cheminformatics, currently serving as Vice President of New Leads & Computational Sciences at Bristol Myers Squibb since April 2001. Johnson has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Vice President of Molecular Structure & Design and Executive Director of Molecular Structure and Design. Prior to this, Johnson was a Senior Principal Scientist specializing in Computer-Assisted Drug Design (CADD) and contributed as a member of the Board of Trustees for Boheme Opera NJ from March 2018 to August 2023. In earlier career stages, Johnson worked as an Investigator in Cheminformatics at GlaxoSmithKline. Johnson holds a PhD in Chemistry from Penn State University and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University of Delaware.
