Ian Ferguson

Ian Ferguson is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in sports medicine. Currently serving as the Club Doctor for Bristol Rovers Football Club since August 2018, Ian has also held the position of Doctor for the Irish Football Association since January 2011. In addition, Ian is the Chief Medical Officer at Gloucestershire Cricket starting January 2024 and previously worked as a Doctor for Newport County AFC from July 2014 to August 2018, covering both the first team and academy. Ian holds a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBCH) from Cardiff University and a degree in Sports Medicine from Cardiff Metropolitan University.
