Sara Daugherty has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Sara currently serves as the Chief of Staff at BRITE Energy Innovators, where they are responsible for managing partnerships and spearheading the organization's electric mobility initiative. Prior to this, Sara worked as the Director of Operations & Economic Impact at the same company, where they outperformed previous years' metrics and successfully increased the operational budget and payroll.

In addition, Sara is the Founder of Kobzari, LLC., a position they have held since 2019. Sara was also a Fellow at the Clean Energy Leadership Institute from 2021 to 2022.

Earlier in their career, Sara served as a Program Manager at the Eastgate Regional Council of Governments, where they played a pivotal role in restructuring economic development and transportation strategies, securing grants, and fostering citizen engagement. Sara attended Rutgers University from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2009, Sara Daugherty obtained a Bachelor of Philosophy degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Miami University. In addition to their academic achievements, Sara Daugherty has also obtained several certifications, including certification from the American Planning Association as an American Institute of Certified Planners, certification in Economic Development Finance from the National Development Council, certification in Geospatial Science (GIS) from Rutgers University, and certification in Human Subjects from Rutgers University.
