Gillian Wickers

Gillian Wickers is an accomplished professional in the travel industry with extensive experience in sales and supplier relations. Currently serving as the Head of UK Leisure Sales at British Airways since June 2022, Gillian previously held the position of Head of Global Agency Sales for EMEA at United Airlines, where responsibilities included strategic growth and negotiation of commercial contracts across Europe. Prior to that, a consulting role was undertaken in early 2017, following a decade at American Express Global Business Travel, where significant positions included Director of Supplier Relations and various managerial roles focused on supplier management and client relations. Earlier experience includes account management at Carlson Wagonlit Travel and Argyle Executive Recruitment. Gillian's educational background features a Master's in Leisure & Tourism Management and a BA in Business Studies from The University of Sheffield.
