Luis de Bastos

Luis De Bastos is currently a Cyber Change Analyst at British Airways, having joined in July 2023. Prior to this role, Luis gained extensive experience at Ithaca Energy as the Lead Security and Integrated Operations Analyst from November 2019 to July 2023, overseeing operational cyber security tasks and monitoring IT infrastructure threats. Luis also served as the Lead Desktop Support Analyst at Ithaca Energy, managing a team focused on delivering IT services to 1,250 users. Previously, Luis held the position of Lead Desktop Support Analyst at Chevron, leading support teams across multiple countries for 1,500 users. Earlier roles include Field IT Support Engineer at Phoenix IT Services and Technical Support Specialist at Smart Modular Technologies. Luis is pursuing a Master’s degree in Cyber Security at The Open University, complementing a prior Master’s degree in Information Security and Digital Forensics obtained from the same institution.
