Sean Rich

Sean Rich is a Principal Data Scientist and MLOps Lead at British Airways since January 2024, contributing to the Operations Decision Support team. Prior to this role, Sean served as a Senior Data Scientist at Virgin Atlantic from July 2019 to January 2024, focusing on Operational Research & Data Science, and previously held the position of Senior Analyst in the Cargo Data and Insights team. Sean's earlier experience includes roles at Wessex Water, where responsibilities included Regulatory Data and Charges Manager, Senior Pricing Analyst, and Forecasting Analyst, with an initial placement as a student in the Energy Accounting team. Sean holds a BSc in Natural Sciences with a focus on Mathematical Biology from the University of Bath, completed in 2015, and completed A Levels at John Taylor Sixth Form.
