Amala Pandhalingal

Amala Pandhalingal is currently a Student Social Worker at Brent Council, having started in October 2024, and is a member of both the British Association of Social Workers and the Social Workers Union since October 2023. With previous experience as a Student Social Worker at Hestia Charity and roles in various sectors including hospitality and content writing, Amala has developed a diverse skill set. Amala holds a Master’s degree in Social Work from Middlesex University, expected to be completed in February 2025, and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, attained in 2022. Additionally, Amala has contributed to community engagement and partnerships at Yellow Club and has experience in corporate content writing.
