Luke Aylward

Luke Aylward currently serves as a Board Member at AECM - European Association of Guarantee Institutions since May 2023. In addition, Luke has held the position of Director of Product Strategy for Guarantee and Wholesale Solutions at British Business Bank since May 2020, following a progression from Senior Manager in Product Development and GWS Strategy to Senior Strategy Manager. Prior experience includes roles at HM Treasury from November 2014 to May 2020, culminating as Head of Business Lending, along with positions as Policy Advisor in Business Lending and Devolved Spending. Earlier roles include Youth Worker at Forest Hill Community Church and Project Manager at Lewisham Foodbank. Academic qualifications include an MA in Theology and Religious Studies from the University of Cambridge and an MTh in Christian Doctrine from Spurgeon's College.
