Rita Parikh ICD.D is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, governance, and organizational development across various sectors. Currently serving as the Director on the Board of Oxfam Canada and Chair of the Board at Vancity, Rita also operates Rita Parikh Consulting, offering expert advice in strategic planning and communications. With a background as Executive Director of the BC College of Nurses and Midwives and significant roles in organizations such as the Association of Canadian Occupational Therapy Regulatory Organizations and Canadian Parents for French - BC and Yukon, Rita has a proven track record in enhancing public protection, advocating for education access, and leading multi-stakeholder initiatives. Rita's educational credentials include a Master’s degree in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University.
