Natalia Gomez-Perez is a seasoned geomagnetism scientist at the British Geological Survey since August 2019 and a visiting professor at The University of Edinburgh since January 2015, where collaboration with the Center for Science at Extreme Conditions focuses on developing numerical models for high-pressure and high-temperature experiments. Previously, Natalia served as an associate researcher at Newcastle University from August 2017 to July 2019 and as an assistant professor at Universidad de los Andes from October 2010 to July 2015, where supervision of a Ph.D. candidate took place. Earlier experience includes a MESSNGER postdoctoral fellowship at the Carnegie Institution of Washington from October 2007 to October 2010 and a research assistant position at the University of Alberta from September 2002 to September 2007. Natalia holds a Ph.D. in Geophysics from the University of Alberta (2002-2007) and a BSc in Physics from Universidad de Los Andes (1997-2002).
