Roisin Alston is a Digital Communications Executive at British Rowing, with a strong background in journalism and communications. Previous roles include Broadcast Journalist at the BBC, where original stories focused on diverse communities in North Yorkshire, and Press Officer for the Pleasance Theatre Trust at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, managing communications for over 260 live shows. Roisin's experience also encompasses sports reporting at Leeds Student Radio and hosting the Bow Lounge Podcast, as well as a role as Parliamentary Assistant to Sir Oliver Letwin in the House of Commons. Roisin holds an MA in International Journalism from the University of Leeds and a BA (Hons) in English and Politics from the University of York.
