Judhajeet Ray, Ph.D., is a Supervisor and Research Scientist at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard, where responsibilities include leading CRISPRi based pooled screens in human iPSCs. Previously, Ray served as a Research Scientist I at the same institute, focusing on the development and optimization of CRISPR based single-cell technologies for functional genomic screens. Prior experience includes positions as a Research Associate and Postdoctoral Associate at Cornell University under the mentorship of Prof. John Lis, as well as a Graduate Research Assistant at Iowa State University with Prof. Marit Nilsen-Hamilton. Academically, Ray holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Iowa State University, a postdoctoral degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics from Cornell University, and a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology & Genetics and Microbiology, respectively, from the University of Calcutta.
