Mukundh Murthy

Mukundh Murthy is a Machine Learning Intern at Octant, a startup focused on developing therapeutics for rare diseases, since May 2023, and serves as the Ann Arbor Chapter Lead for Nucleate while also being an Emergent Ventures Fellow at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University, focusing on computational solutions for antimicrobial resistance. Mukundh is a Masason Foundation member with SoftBank Group Corp., contributing to youth initiatives in emerging technologies. Past experiences include internships at Asimov and Cellarity, where Mukundh developed machine learning models and contributed to projects at the intersection of machine learning and biology, along with a role as a fellow at BioDojo. Additionally, Mukundh participated in consulting challenges and worked as a Senior Staff Writer for ResearchCrunch, while holding a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Michigan.
