Rob Snell

Rob Snell is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Sheffield, engaged in the metal additive manufacturing group and the MAPP initiative since October 2013. Previously, Rob Snell completed a PhD with a thesis focused on the development of novel silver brazing alloys, earning the Brunton medal for outstanding metallurgical research. In early 2023, Rob Snell participated as a BSF Fellow in the BSF8 class at Wilbe, a venture firm aimed at supporting entrepreneurial scientists. Academic qualifications include a Master's Degree in Metallurgy from the University of Sheffield and a Master's Degree in Physics from St John's College, University of Durham.
