Randy Parnell

Randy Parnell has a diverse work experience that spans various industries. Randy worked as a Sales Manager at Broad River Retail in 2023 and as the VP of Sales at Country Boy Produce from 2021 to 2023. Prior to that, they were a Weekly Panelist at The Talk Station 107.1 FM from 2019 to 2021. Randy also served as a Sales Manager - Education/Sleep at Broad River Retail from 2020 to 2021.

In 2019, Randy worked as the Manager of Special Projects at the Transatlantic Forum for Education and Diplomacy, where they were responsible for recruiting students for study abroad programs and facilitating social media and hosting diplomatic events. Randy also had an internship at the same organization.

In 2018, Randy was the Web Orders Supervisor at Barnes & Noble College, and from 2012 to 2016, they had various roles at Havertys Furniture, including Branch Manager and Branch Sales Manager. During their time at Havertys, they achieved significant sales results and led a team of sales professionals.

Randy co-owned 4 Corner Gallery from 2011 to 2012, where they designed catalogues, established relationships with suppliers, and managed various aspects of the business. Prior to that, they worked at AB Art as a Business Development Account Manager and Product Designer, where they excelled in cold calling and sales techniques, traveled extensively, and hired territory representatives. Randy started their career as a Sales Manager at Place Your Bid from 2003 to 2006.

Randy Parnell's education history begins in 1996 when they enrolled at North Carolina State University. Randy pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Business and completed their studies in 2001.

After a significant gap, Randy returned to formal education in 2017 at Wake Technical Community College. Randy earned an Associate of Arts degree, focusing on Accounting Core Certificate, and completed their studies in 2018.

In 2018, Randy continued their education at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Randy pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Management and Society and successfully completed their studies in 2020.

Furthermore, in 2019, Randy participated in a Study Abroad program at King's College London, where they focused on International Relations and Diplomacy.

In addition to their formal education, Randy has obtained certifications to enhance their skills. Randy completed a course on Effective Communications and Human Relations/Skills for Success at Dale Carnegie. Randy also holds a certificate in Social Media Management and Marketing for Business from North Carolina State University.
