Larry West

Larry is a senior human resources leader with over 20 years of experience in global, regional, and domestic human resources leadership within the manufacturing, chemical and consulting sectors. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Northern Illinois University. Larry started with Broadbent in 2019 when he relocated to Las Vegas and currently serves as Human Resources Director. He started his career as an industrial hygienist with a Chicago-based consulting firm and progressed to a Safety & Industrial Hygiene Specialist for a major paint manufacturer. There is where he moved into Human Resources to ramp up operations and R&D and then progressed to global human resources senior management for a major Kitchen & Bath manufacturer. Larry has a strong background in implementing change; leading diverse US/global HR teams; and driving strategic initiatives. He is known for his down-to-earth, approachable style and passion to develop Broadbent employees to become the best they can be in their field. When away from work, Larry keeps busy with outdoor activities (jet skiing, hiking, and alpine skiing), travel, and being with family and friends. He is a member of the national Society of Human Resources Management (SHRM) and the local Southern Nevada SHRM chapter.
