Cynthia Petty, SPHR, has a diverse and extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Cynthia has held senior leadership roles in prominent companies, including Brock & Company, Takeda (formerly Shire), Shire Pharmaceuticals, Aqua America, Enclara Pharmacia, Orleans Homebuilders, and Weyerhaeuser Company.

At Brock & Company, Cynthia currently serves as the VP of Human Resources. Prior to this, they worked at Takeda (formerly Shire) as a Contractor - Equity Administration Manager, where they managed mobility compensation processes and projects.

At Shire Pharmaceuticals, Cynthia served as a Contractor - Global Equity Operations Project Manager IV, providing project management support for integrating multiple global equity projects resulting from a recent merger.

During their time at Aqua America, Cynthia worked as a Contractor - Manager, Total Rewards, where they conducted market pricing for over 1,000 positions and implemented consistency across an $800+ million utility company.

As the Director of Compensation & Benefits at Enclara Pharmacia, Cynthia created and managed benefit and compensation processes and systems for the national pharmacy benefit manager.

Before their roles at Aqua America and Enclara Pharmacia, Cynthia worked as a Consultant, helping customers in various HR areas and managing open enrollment processes.

Cynthia's earlier experience includes serving as the VP of Human Resources at Orleans Homebuilders, where they created the first professional, integrated HR function for the homebuilder.

Cynthia also worked at Weyerhaeuser Company as a Human Resources Manager, where they upgraded and developed a comprehensive HR function for the business paper manufacturing division. Prior to this, Cynthia served as the Director of Human Resources at Weyerhaeuser Real Estate Company, creating a comprehensive HR function for the residential homebuilding subsidiary.

Throughout their career, Cynthia has demonstrated a strong ability to provide operational and strategic support to leadership, analyze operational needs, and develop appropriate HR processes and responses.

Cynthia Petty, SPHR, holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Human Resources from the University of Maryland. Cynthia also has a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History from Colgate University. In addition to their educational background, Cynthia has obtained a certification in Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2018.
