Thiago Nemecek

Thiago Nemecek has had several work experiences throughout their career. Thiago is currently working at BrokerBay as a Lead Software Engineer, a position they have held since September 2021. Prior to this, they worked at BrokerBay as a Full Stack Engineer from June 2020 to September 2021.

Before joining BrokerBay, Thiago worked at Locamex as a Full Stack Developer from January 2018 to January 2020. In this role, they led the development and implementation of a new web-app system to increase efficiency and reduce paperwork. Thiago utilized technologies like React, Node.js, and MongoDB, and managed version control with Git. Thiago also implemented AWS cloud services and coordinated the company's migration to the new workflow.

Prior to Locamex, Thiago had various roles in the audio industry. Thiago worked as a freelance Music Composer for top-grossing Brazilian films and designed sound for major events like League of Legends Brazilian Finals and Rio 2016 Olympic Games mobile game. Thiago also worked as an Audio Director for VR experiences at MIT Hacking Arts.

Thiago's earlier work experience includes a role as a Marketing Specialist at Locamex from August 2014 to August 2015.

Thiago Nemecek's education history includes a variety of programs and degrees. In 2012, they attended Berklee College of Music, where they obtained a Specialist Certificate in Orchestration and Producing Music for Film & Games. During the same year, they also studied at Universidade Anhembi Morumbi and received an Associate's degree in Music Production. From 2012 to 2015, Thiago pursued a Bachelor's degree in Communication and Media Studies at ESPM Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing. In 2019, they enrolled at Juno College of Technology to study Data Foundations. Finally, in 2020, Thiago completed a Web Development Bootcamp at Juno College of Technology.
