Thomas Carey

Thomas Carey is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in corporate law and academia. Serving as an Adjunct Professor at New England School of Law since January 2017, Thomas has also been a Partner at Sunstein LLP since 1994, where responsibilities include chairing the Business Practice Group and assisting technology companies with business formation, capital raising, and intellectual property monetization. Prior experience includes a partnership at Hinckley, Allen & Snyder LLP from 1983 to 1995, where Thomas acted as outside general counsel for various businesses, and a role as a Quantitative Analyst at the New York City Planning Commission from 1971 to 1973, focusing on subsidized housing projects. Thomas holds a JD from the University at Buffalo School of Law and a BA in French Literature from Yale University.
