Mary Schabes

Mary Schabes has over 15 years of work experience, primarily in the healthcare industry. Their most recent role was as the Executive Director of the Center for Learning at Bronson Healthcare, where they held various leadership positions since 2012. In their role, Mary was responsible for coordinating learning and development initiatives across the organization, providing leadership and consultation on organization development and learning strategies. Previously, they served as the Manager of Organization Development and Learning, overseeing the staff and functions of the full OD&L team. Prior to that, Mary was the Leadership Development Coordinator, collaborating with HR teams on the development of leaders at all levels. Mary also worked as an Organizational Development & Learning Specialist, assessing learning and development needs for management and staff. Before joining Bronson Healthcare, Mary worked as a Human Resources Employment Specialist, handling high-volume recruitment for various areas within the organization. Prior to entering the healthcare industry, Mary worked as a Membership Representative at the Bronson Athletic Club, where they were involved in all aspects of club membership and provided exceptional member experiences.

Mary Schabes completed their education with a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management and Organizational Behavior from Benedictine University in the years 2012-2014. Prior to that, they obtained a BBA degree in Human Resource Management & Economics from the Western Michigan University - Haworth College of Business between 2005 and 2007. Starting their academic journey, Mary earned transfer credits in Business Administration from Kalamazoo Valley Community College from 2003 to 2005.
