Marcelena Joseph- Rochea

Marcelena Joseph-Rochea, DNP, RN, CMSRN, currently serves as the Director of Nursing at BronxCare Health System since October 2025. Prior to this role, Marcelena worked as the Patient Care Director at Gracie Square Hospital from March 2022 to October 2025 and as a Clinical Nurse Manager at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital from June 2016 to March 2022, managing clinical operations in Med-Surgical units. Experience also includes positions as a Staff Nurse at Long Island Healthcare and SOUTH OAKS HOSPITAL, and as a Staff Nurse at Kings County Hospital, specializing in geriatric and psychiatric nursing. Marcelena holds a Doctorate in Nursing Practice candidate status and has completed an MSN in Leadership and Management as well as a Bachelor of Applied Science in Registered Nursing. Further postgraduate education includes enrollment in a Nurse Practitioner program at William Paterson University of New Jersey.
