Dan Thornton

Dan Thornton has a strong background in quality engineering. Dan worked at Brook + Whittle starting in November 2016, where they provided validation inspection and testing of products, created product standards, integrated visual inspection cameras, and wrote Certificates of Compliance and Analysis. Dan also inspected outgoing products and provided in-process inspection for the medical product line. Prior to that, they worked at Birdair, Inc. from February 2008 to April 2016, where they researched, tested, and specified mechanical properties of materials, programmed testing equipment, and performed in-house calibrations.

Dan Thornton completed their education in a chronological order. Dan first attended Erie Community College from 2002 to 2004, earning an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree in Engineering Science. During the same period, they also pursued another AAS degree in Mathematics at Erie Community College. Subsequently, Dan enrolled at the University at Buffalo and studied there from 2004 to 2006, obtaining a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Industrial Engineering.
