Cheyenne Aoelua has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a 6th Grade ELA and Social Studies Teacher, as well as a 3rd Grade Lead Teacher, at Brooke Charter Schools since July 2020, where previous roles included Associate Teacher. Prior to this, Cheyenne worked as a Student Success Coach at City Year from July 2019 to June 2020, focusing on social-emotional learning in under-resourced schools. Experience as a Museum Docent at the J. Paul Getty Museum involved designing and facilitating educational tours for K-12 students, while a role as Events and Visitor Services Assistant at the Fowler Museum included significant data analysis to enhance outreach to underserved communities. Additionally, Cheyenne tutored for the Apple Valley Unified School District. Cheyenne holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a Minor in Education from UCLA.
