Mike Curran

Mike Curran is a dedicated educator currently serving as a Middle School Humanities Teacher at Nativity Preparatory School of Boston while also teaching at Brooke Charter Schools. With experience as a Math and Reading Instructor at Kumon North America, Inc., Mike has a strong background in tutoring K-12 students in essential skills. Previously, Mike taught history at Severn School, where responsibilities included leading the 7th-grade advisory, coaching boys' lacrosse, and participating in strategic planning. Early teaching experience includes a teaching apprenticeship at Shady Hill School, focusing on English and history for middle school students. Mike Curran holds a Master of Education in Curriculum and Teaching from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in American History with minors in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
